Artemis Concept Art

This is an original concept art depicting Artemis, Greek Goddess of the Hunt, and the Wilds.
By giving her a more adult and somewhat feral look, I wanted to bring her powerful and independent nature to the front. Although she has a great number of followers, she thrives alone and it is said that she can disappear for long periods of time, piercing bobcats and stags alone in the mountains or islands surrounding Greece.
Her equipment is tailored for archery but there is nonetheless a Spartan influence to it since most of her myth originates near Sparta.

I created this 2D concept art for my 3D character modeling class. The 3D model is currently ongoing and I will post it as soon as it is finished and approved by my teacher :).
